The president of Cheshire Home Penang, Mr. Andrew Koay Say Loke, said, “Today, we gather not only for a morning recreation and fellowship, but also to celebrate a value that is fundamental to every caring society: inclusion.”
The programme also provided an opportunity for participants to spend time together, build connections, and enjoy a welcoming community environment. Beyond the activities, it was also a celebration of inclusion and the importance of creating opportunities for persons with disabilities and their families to participate fully in community life.
Furthermore, Mr. Andrew Koay Say Loke emphasized that inclusion is not about bringing people into what already exists. It is about creating a better space for everyone.
Ultimately, the morning was a meaningful reminder that inclusion begins with coming together, creating connections, and ensuring that everyone has a place within the community.
